Waterfront Lighting Project

Overview:    The Waterfront Lighting project  involved lighting up the Nakusp Promenade, from the Japanese Garden to the marina.  The Waterfront Walk had been underused after sunset as, without lights, the area became very dark and a safety concern.  Lights were installed on the rails along the shore, along the wheelchair access ramp, at the five sets of stairs, on trees, benches, and on the sign board.  Now the Waterfront Walk can and is used all year around.
